Why I Started Wonder Years Project: A Space for Presence, Not Perfection

🌿I didn’t start Wonder Years Project because I had all the answers.
I started it because I kept hearing quiet versions of the same questions from so many thoughtful, capable parents:
“Am I doing this right?”
“Why does this feel so hard?”
“Is it just me?”
And they weren’t new at this — they were engaged, emotionally aware, doing everything they could. But still… overwhelmed. Alone. Wondering if they were enough.
We talk so much about parenting logistics —
schedules, feeding, sleep.
But not the emotional interior of parenting:
The grief. The guilt. The quiet joy.
The nervous system work of showing up for your child while trying not to disappear in the process.
✨ What Wonder Years Project Is
🕊️ A place to pause
🕊️ A space to reflect
🕊️ A reminder that presence is more powerful than perfection
This project began as a soft question:
What would it feel like if parents were supported emotionally — not just logistically?
🪴 This space is for you if:
You’re holding your child with one hand and your breath with the other
You want to do things differently, but gently
You believe in presence over pressure
You want your nervous system to feel safe in your own parenting
💭 Because parenting is emotional work.
And you don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
You are not behind.
You are becoming.
🌼 Wonder Years Project is a space for…
Calm. Clarity. Self-trust.
Where the small moments are where everything grows — including you.
Welcome. There’s wonder within.
